What would my web domain
name in the basic Wedding Website package?
An example of your domain name would be www.millbankandkent.co.uk/websites/james-emily.
May I have my own web domain name?
Yes, you can upgrade your package for an additional
£40 to have your very own domain name. An example
being, www.jamesandemily.co.uk
. Please note that this address may not be available,
in which case there may be an alternative such as www.james-and-emily.co.uk.
The domain will be live for two years. Please note,
we do not provide technical support for the configuration
of your own computer.
How much will updates cost once I have approved my content
and the site has gone live?
We will charge from £2.50 per minor change, ie
a few words, up to £25 for a major change such
as amending your photo gallery or re-writing a page.
These charges are to cover additional time.
How long will it take for the website to be built?
Up to 1 month. You therefore need to take this into
consideration when timing your stationery as it is good
to include your domain name on your wedding invitations.
If you decide to have a website after you have sent
them out, you can always email the link to your friends
or we can design some postcards for you to send out
to your guests.
1) 50% deposit is due before the website will commence.
We will make a framework for your website, which you
can view before giving us the content to approve.
2) Once approved we will require the final 50% deposit
from you and the content wording for each page.
3) We will endeavour to have the website ready for you
2 weeks after your content has arrived subject to demand.
4) We will send it to you for approval and then make
any amendments necessary. Once approved the site will
go live on the world wide web.
How do I send the website content?
You should use the attached form and all content must
be typed. If you require your content pages to have
different names or headings, please state clearly what
you require.

How does the Copyright work on my images that are used?
You can only send us photographs that you have been
given the permission by the original photographer for
re-use. Millbank and Kent do not accept liability for
unauthorised images.
How often do I need to update my site?
This is entirely up to you. Included in your basic
package is two major updates which we would recommend
you use after the wedding as you may wish to change
your home page to say a thank you note. You may also
wish to change your photo gallery from hen and stag
photographs to wedding day photographs.
If you just want minor changes, like a few words or
sentences we will charge from around £2.50 up
to £25, but we will give you a clear estimate
of the cost when you ask for the update.
If you have just made the odd typo and want it corrected,
we are happy to do this free of charge.
How long will my site stay live?
If you buy the basic package your site will be live
up to 6 months after the wedding date. If you buy your
own domain name the site is valid for 2 years, and you
have the ability to renew it as well if you would like
to extend the period.
What is a content page?
We class a content page as shown on the website examples,
therefore
Home, Venue, Accommodation, Directions, each of these
is a content page.
You may have more than the basic 10 pages. An additional
page would cost £15.00.
How and when do we pay?
We will require 50% deposit by cheque or BACS, (payable
to Millbank and kent) once you have approved your web
frame work. You should send this with your content wording.
How does the News Update work?
We will add a box on your home page where by you can
let your guests know of the latest news such as, when
your gift lists have gone live, hen and stag details
etc. You may have unlimited updates of this. The news
box may have up to 100 words.
