As wedding invitations are the first impression
your family and friends get and set the scene for the day,
we wanted to make sure we got it right. We are so glad we
chose Millbank & Kent as they took time and worked with
us giving various options and colour choices, along with
much appreciated advice where needed. It was great to have
both online proofing and and samples sent to us so we could
see and feel the quality.
Our invitations were woodtype letterpress, individual, simple,
stylish, with a vintage edge and of an excellent quality
which was exactly what we were looking for.
The process of choosing place cards and thank you cards
was also a straightforward, seamless process. We chose the
picture thank you cards so our family and friends also had
their own professional photo as a memento of the day, which
got some great feedback.
After being advised to try a number of styles and designers
to get the perfect dress, that is exactly what I did. I
visited a number of bridal shops and found the staff at
Jodi stood out, they were absolutely lovely and very accommodating
especially when I took my mum and a few close friends to
get their opinion on THE dress (Sottero and Midgley) and
they all stood blubbing!
The dress arrived well within time although I had left a
short timescale for ordering and delivery. (Ooops, warning
to all brides).
We wanted a specific style of suit for the Groom, Best
man and other significant males in the bridal party. After
much searching, penguins were able to offer exactly the
style and colour from one of their latest ranges.
The staff were experienced and helpful, the process of measuring
the suits to fit various shapes and sizes went very smoothly.
Any minor issues were quickly dealt with enabling the gents
to look their best and complement the Bride and the style
of the whole day.
We fell in love with the Knowle as soon as we saw it, it
is the most beautiful setting for an English country wedding.
With its beautiful architecture and flower filled gardens
combined with its individuality and quirkiness made it the
We had our wedding ceremony outside under the pergola which
was laden with beautiful flowers, followed by a wedding breakfast
in the main house which was a feast to die for, especially
the sweet trolley!
The staff were amazing during planning and throughout the
day itself and made sure everything ran smoothly without any
hiccups. We could not have asked for any more.
