We are happy to send out one or more samples of an invitation
free of charge to you. Just fully complete our online order
form below. You can choose to be in with a chance of winning £100.00
worth of wedding stationery.

When shall I send my Save the Dates out?
They are usually sent
out up to one year prior to the wedding.
You may wish to consider
Save the Date cards if you have guests travelling from
overseas so that they can organise their travel arrangements
in advance. Save the Dates are also a good idea if you
are getting married at a busy time of the year such
as summer holidays or Christmas.
When shall i send my Invitations out?
Invitations to your guests are usually sent out 12-16
weeks before the wedding day.
Give enough time if you have guests travelling from
overseas so that they can organise their travel arrangements
in advance. If you
are getting married at a busy time of the year such
as summer holidays or Christmas.
You may order your stationery as far in advance as
you would like. We do not have to print it straight
away, but we can ensure the design, printing and production
are scheduled in our diary for the correct time.
We ideally require around two weeks turn around from
receipt of your order forms to delivery to your door.
We may be able to deliver on a shorter time scale depending
on our work schedule.
Ordering
Please complete our online order forms. As Millbank
and Kent are renowned for offering a personal service,
we will more than likely also want to contact you via
telephone or email to fine tune your individual needs.
This is why we do not have a 'Shopping cart' website.
We will follow up with a schedule of dates for us all
to work to in getting the design, proofing and printing
of your stationery completed and include the invoice
due for what you have ordered.
Payment
Payment is due on
receipt of the 1st set of online proofs from us. Printing will
not commence without full payment.
We require a £50.00 reservation fee to secure
your order if stationery is not required to be printed
within 2 months of receiving your intital order.
This
is refunded on your first invoice for stationery. Please
note, it is non refundable if you decide you no longer
wish to place the order with us.
Payment may be made by online banking, or via Paypal
using a credit card. Our banking details will be shown
on the bottom left of the invoice you receive.
Proofing Process
We usually send an online proof of
your initial invitation order. Paper proofs may be chargeable.
We will not go ahead and print your stationery until
you have signed off each piece of stationery or sent
an email confirming each item and its version number
is 'ok to print'.
If colour matching has been requested without a paper
proof, you take responsibility for the shade/s on completion
of the delivered print.
Please note: Once you have said 'Yes to Print'
or confirmed for us to proceed with printing on your
approval form or via email this is final and we cannot
accept responsibility for errors made by you or ourselves
thereafter.
Card Stock
We recommend you write on your chosen card stock with
the pen you intend to use to ensure it adheres to the
paper/card. Some stock may prove difficult with fountain/gel
pens. Alternatively you may have your guest names printed at an additional charge.
Minimum Order Quantity
We have a minimum order quantity of £50.00 for
your first order only. Any further
orders will not incur the minimum order fee. If your
order is just below this value, please contact us to see if we can
accept your order. This will depend on our work schedule
at that time.
Other Items of Stationery you may require
If you require a particular piece of stationery that
does not feature on our price list, please do not hesitate
to ask if if we can produce this for you. We are more
than happy to fulfill most requests if we are able!
Sizing
Most stationery items sizing are shown on the pricing page,
but if you have a particular request please do ask us
as we can change the size on most items of stationery.
Postage & Packaging
We offer a choice of postal services.
Please select which one you require when ordering.
The majority of our stationery is sent via courier
with a tracked service or Royal Mail.
Overprinting
When your print is produced there is sometimes a few
extra prints. These may be sent out as samples to other
prospective clients. This is stated in our Terms and Conditions. If you do not wish for them to
be sent, please let us know.
Sales and Marketing
We do occasionally use client stationery for sales
and marketing purposes online and offline, for example,
wedding magazines, and social media. This is stated in our Terms and Conditions.
If you do not
wish for your stationery to be included please email
us and we will happily remove any web based items and
ensure your stationey is not used in the future.
Photographic stationery
If you would like photographic stationery:
There are 2 options available for the receipt of images;
1) Please scan your images at home at a resolution
of no less than 300 dpi (dots per inch). The image should
also be no smaller than 170mm at its smallest dimension. Please then email
them to us.
2) Send them in the post - BUT FIRST, please ensure
you have taken a copy of the image. Please also send
via Royal Mail Special Delivery as this is the most
secure and guaranteed form of post. Images will be returned
to you.
We make every effort to ensure old images look as good
as possible on print. This is only possible if the image
supplied to us is of reasonable condition in the first
place. We will let you know if an image is unsuitable.
You must have the copyright ownership or usage to use
the images you have supplied to us. We will need this
in writing please.

How we work
Monday morning is not a chore!.
The fact that Millbank and Kent is run by people who
genuinely enjoy their job; results in you getting 100%
commitment and return from us!.
Flexibility
We gain praise from our existing customers for the
flexibility we offer with their stationery. The designs
shown on this website are a sample of what can be produced.
We have produced them in many varying ways to suit your
taste, style and colour scheme so please ask if you
have a bespoke request.
Response Time
We operate as a full time business and will usually
reply to calls, emails and texts on the same day. We
are able to pick up all communication outside of the
office too.
Prompt Turnaround
Due to us having produced stationery for a number of
years and designing, printing and producing it all in-house
we now have the design and production down to a tee!.
This means if you have left ordering your stationery
a little bit late; do not worry, we can usually accommodate
your order and get it sent out to you sooner than you
may think.
Online Order Forms
We have easy to complete online order forms that does
not make you pay using a shopping cart at the end. We
do not require any payment from you until you have seen
your 1st set of online proofs. The balance due will
be included with the stationery proof as an invoice.
Colour Matching
We are more than happy to change the colour of any
of our designs as long as it is feasible at no extra
charge.
All we request is that you send in the post to us a
piece of fabric or a cutting from a magazine of the
shade you are trying to achieve and we will make every
effort to get as close to that shade as possible.
The same applies to the font. If you have a favourite
let us know and we will use that if we have it at the
studio.
High Quality Card, Paper and Envelopes
We are very proud of our premium quality stock of card,
paper and envelopes that we source from a premium paper
merchant based in Italy and supplied to the UK. We are privileged to
be a customer of these prestigious high end paper merchants.
Environment
Our stock of card, paper and envelopes are certified
by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and any new
ranges are produced using plant crops that grow rapidly
or are replenished annually, such as cotton, hemp, flax
and bamboo.
Some of our stock is recycled and biodegradable and
are from managed forests. It is also 'heavy metal' free
giving it the ECF classification.
We deliver our off cuts of paper and cards to a local
primary school for use in arts and crafts.

We always encourage our customers to give us as much
feedback as possible so that we can learn about what
you want from your stationery . We also ask you to complete
our feedback form at the end of your ordering with any
suggestions or comments to help us out.
